Sweet Water:

The Sweet Water is a smooth casting, full flexing, progressive action, medium to fast speed rod. With the contemporary build techniques employed; the Sweet Water hits the bamboo spey sweet spot of a surprizing lightness in hand and modern action making it delightful to cast and fish all day. Available in the following lengths and line weights: 11' for 5/6 and 11'6" for 6/7.

Jäger: 

The Jäger is predominately a progressive action rod with a hint of regression. The regression gives it a small amount of pleasing tactile feedback just above the top of the handle so you know the whole rod is storing energy for you. It employs a stiff tip with good lifting characteristics. This rod speed is on the fast side of medium. It is available in the following lengths and line weights: 12' for 7/8 weight and 12'3" for 7/8 and 8/9.

Khüiten:

This is a relaxed pace, full flexing, classic through action rod that draws inspiration from the classic Sharpes Scottie 13' and Pezon & Michel 13' Parabolic Saumon rods. Rod speed is on the slow side of medium. The Khüiten will flex to the top of the grip and do all the work with long effortless casts. Not soft or whimpy though; it will snake roll with authority. It is light in hand for its length and designed to balance at the top of the grip. Available in 13' for 8 weight.

Kräken:

The Kräken is designed for cold high water swinging and with the ability to cast both short and long distances effectively using either full sink or floating lines with tips. In these situations the Kräken keeps the tipped line in direct path with the anchor and then delivers a focused forward cast with tight loops. This is an authoritative faster rod that enables fishing in more extreme conditions including high water, deep wading, with larger flies and wind. Available in 12'6" for 8/9.

North Share Favorite:

This is a modern progressive action longer bamboo spey rod. Speed is on faster sider of medium. The North Share Favorite is a jack of all trades longer bamboo spey rod employing a taper that provides good lift and line authority that does well with most spey line systems. Available in the following lengths and line weights: 12'10" for 8/9 and 9/10.

Configuration

SpeyGrass rods are 3 piece, hollow built with spliced ferrules. Thread wraps are generally sealed with a transulcent coating that provides maximum guide bonding to the blank. Thread colors are choosen in consultation with the purchaser. Color preserved thread wraps may be available depending on the rod model and usage. A variety of bright and dark, reel seat hardware, guides, agates and wood inserts are available. Handles are turned from flor grade cork.
